How to search

You search for records in the Form view. For each field you enter your search criteria. If a field is empty, the field will not be used as criteria. To start a search from scratch you can clear the Form view by clicking on the toolbar button:

If you run such an “empty” search by clicking on the same toolbar button again, the result of your search will be all records in the database. To narrow your search, you can for each field either select a certain field value by clicking on the arrow to the right of the field control and then selecting the value or enter part of a value using Wildcard characters. When you have selected values with or without wildcard characters for the fields you want to include in your search, you can execute the search by clicking on the Search button in the toolbar or the menu item Search č Run or by using the keyboard: CTRL+ENTER.

The result of the search can be found in the Record list view. This view now contains records of which the first record is selected. The Image view displays the image of the first record and the Form view displays the field values of the first record. You can then browse through the records, make your changes to field values, view and print images, etc.

To perform a new search, enter your search criteria in the field controls in the Form view.

You can also search by browsing the Tree View.
